HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCTS AND BUSINESS ON QUORA

Welcome back to the Legere Academy blog and today we will be talking about how you can use Quora which is one of the most diverse and informed answering platforms where one can find and answer questions to literally anything for affiliate marketing. INTRODUCTION

Quora is online software, where people go to ask questions, so they could have any question in the world (literally), health, weight loss, how to make money online, literally anything down to the little things.

So people ask these questions and others like you and me would go out there and answer those questions and the cool thing about Quora is that when you can give a lot of value in the answer you can then include your links along with your affiliate links.

Now, I will say before we get deep into this that you do not want to spam Quora. The game here isn’t to spam affiliate links and your links, the game is to give a lot of value and then sprinkle in your links throughout the value that you are giving.

You can sign up for Quora right now, it’s completely free and this is an extremely cool way for you to start with affiliate marketing because the thing is that you can answer questions and thousands of people will see your answers (over time).

If you keep providing answers to people’s questions you are going to get more views over time and that is just the name of the game (compounding). It is so cool because you can download the app on your phone and just answer questions while you are commuting, on your way to class, and at any time.

You could answer about 5 at a time or per day and it just keeps compounding and what I like to do (a tip that you could you) is that I like to get my affiliate links inside of my notepad and phone therefore when I’m answering a question I can just quickly get to my notepad and grab the like and paste inside the answer that I’m typing.

BIO LINKS

So let me just show you the profile of how you can lay it out, so what I do is that I just have a basic introduction of who I am, and then I just keep explaining who I am and what I do, and at the bottom, I do a little social thing where you know like ‘check out my blog or Instagram or my Pinterest, etc.’ or you can even promote a product on the bio like ‘check out this great course blah blah’ and you put in your affiliate link.

So you can kind of copy this model, It kind of very simple because people will go to your page as you are consistently answering questions.

As you keep doing this, you are growing a social atmosphere or environment, where people are going to go to your profile, they will look at you, what you care about, why should you be seen as the authority, why you are the authority figure and they will then click on your links, etc.

LONG AND SHORT ANSWERS

What I like to do is to sprinkle in short (without affiliate links) and long answers and another thing that happens in Quora is that when you input a link to your website or social media in your bio, whenever you answer a question this personal information appears on the headings to the answers you are giving.

And this gives you another call to action for people to go and click through. It should be something that you should be doing as well.

IMAGES

Another thing you might want to add to your answers is images, this is a nice way to separate yourself from the answers without images. You can go on to Google or any other image source and pick an image that fits the answer you are giving.

IMMORTAL ANSWERS

Another cool thing about Quora is that the answers never age. Meaning it even shows answers from around 2016 or 17, it doesn’t just show its most recent answers.

But the thing you should take away here is that just as SEO and any other thing online, it is the answers with the most value that tops. You don’t just want to be sprinkling or hammering Quora with your affiliate links, as I said you just have to be giving something useful and substantial.

And this is serious because their moderation team is going to say “this person is a spammer, let's ban them, and we do not want someone like them on our platform, because they are not giving help and value”.

As I said earlier, I do both short and long answers, with my short answers not having affiliate links. And this is to show the moderation team that you are not just in Quora to promote your business (even if you are) but to give genuine value.

VIDEOS

And another fun stuff to do is if you are a Youtuber or video content creator, you could as well insert these videos in your answers.

So that’s it, you can sign up and begin answering questions, giving value, and then inserting your links to your long answers and therefore getting traffic.

SIGNING UP

Once you sign up, you will have to pick or select your tribe/Niche, things you can best answer, and things you want to see. And Quora will also ask you to answer things.

That is if you are normally answering questions in a particular thing. They will be like “can you answer this”. And people also can ask you questions as they see t5hat your profile is good enough.

So yes that’s it.

I highly recommend Quora, it’s a cool, unique way to get people following you and just get people into your world without having to spend any money, and you have to do is answer questions, 5 questions a day.

THIS IS GOOD FOR YOU IF:

• You are not a good writer

• Don’t want to maintain a blog

• You don’t have money to spend on ads

You just have to make sure that you aren’t spamming Quora, and making sure that you are giving value and that people will be able to follow your information and sprinkle in your affiliate links as you are giving value.
