HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR AFFILIATE PRODUCTS USING REDDIT

In this post, I’m going to be showing you how to effectively promote affiliate products on Reddit using 4 strategies.

It’s pretty easy, and I will be showing you step by step how you can get your links out there, how you can target people effectively so that the right people are viewing your links, they are clicking on them, and making your sales hence making you money.

So, let’s get into it.

INTRODUCTION

Reddit has over 330 million users every single month, now you may not have heard of Reddit, but it is a very popular site to get news and just other information on different topics like a discussion board.

On Reddit, all of these people (330 million) can be reached and you can use several methods which I’m about to show you.

These are all free methods that can get you and your products in front of these people.

HOW YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR LINKS (METHODS)

First, you have to target who you show your links to, now depending on the products you are promoting let’s say it’s a marketing course on online business. You don’t want to put your links up for all 330 million people that will take a lot of time.

So we want to get targeted because 330 million people are a lot and not everyone on Reddit is interested in actually starting an online business. You know some people are happy with their jobs, some are more concerned with like family or domestic issues or raising kids or whatever it is, their focus isn’t on starting a business.

Most people are scared of starting a business or side hustle, some people don’t even have a computer, and there are over a million reasons.

So we want to get targeted and we just want to find the small chunk of these people that are going to be most likely to buy from our link, that is going to click it, that is going t be interested in the link we post and is going to buy from it.

So in summary we need to find the people that are interested in marketing or online businesses.

So what I’m going to do is that I’m going to use the search bar I’m going to search for a few different sub-Reddit that are connected with marketing and online businesses. Once these sub-Reddit show up you can join as many as possible.

After you have joined all these specific groups of people interested in marketing and online businesses you can then proceed to use these methods to get your links out.

• SUBMIT A NEW LINK

So you can just submit your link by clicking on the ‘submit a new link’ button on the screen and people will see it.

You get your affiliate link and paste it into the URL box. I the title box you type in the title or name of the product and add in an attractive way the purpose and use of the product (remember to modify this to make sure it seems interesting and attractive)

Note: When you are promoting your links on a forum or discussion or a group, try to make slight typos or grammatical errors, this makes your recommendations more humanly and not just marketing. When it seems like marketing it is marketing.

And make sure you click on the Send replies to my inbox, so that whenever someone has a question to ask about the product you can answer them. This will help boost the possibility of the person buying that product.

You can also add in some text.

So if you want you can write something, something that might spark a genuine interest in the product and it must seem real and natural in its claims. And also this should have typos and grammar errors so it will seem natural and not marketing. (This is because that is how normal people type).

You can now click submit and that is it.

• SUBMIT A TEXT POST

You can submit a text post through a button on your Reddit homepage.

You can click the button and then submit a post about whatever you are talking about. Put the title in (once again) using the same style as the new link method, and also the same for the body (text).

The only difference is that here there is no space for a link, so you would have to post in your affiliate link somewhere within the actual text post and then click on the post.

• COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE’S POST

This one is pretty obvious, it is just about commenting on other people’s posts.

And one thing to notice about these groups is that you can see how many readers are on each group and from there you can see the people that are active and that gives you a clear indication of how and when to comment on posts or even post in the group.

So you can just read through some posts and comment on them adding your links (it should flow naturally and not forced).

• SEND A DIRECT MESSAGE TO PEOPLE

So when you go to these groups, you can see the people who have responded to similar posts or who are active in the group. So you can then open up these people’s Reddit page and at the right top corner of the screen you would see the person’s information and a link that says ‘send a private message’.

Once you click on the link you can then send the message to them for the subject you can write the same thing you just did for the title in the other methods and for the message this has to be more personalized and targeted and also note that these messages and text body should be customized according to the kind of groups you are posting them in.

For example; if you are posting in an affiliate group, you should promote the product around the money online niche and so on.

SUMMARY/CONCLUSION

You can see that it is that easy to get your links out to people on Reddit, the hard part is doing it doing the work, getting out these posts with the links as much as you can, every single day. Post up hundred of links, the more links you post the more sales you will get.

Again modify your text according to the groups, the more you modify your text, the more leverage you have to make people want to click it and access the product.
